Please note, all information given in good faith, but seasonal changes do occur to the airports’ timetables, and toll prices are a rough guide.

Slovenia now has a vignette system for motorway charging. If hiring a car in Slovenia, this will already be incorporated into your hire charge. If hiring a car in Austria/Italy please ensure you are covered on insurance for driving in Slovenia and then you will have to buy a vignette at a service station. Currently shortest length of vignette is 6 months and costs €35. Instructions on use are given in English.

Ljubljana - 40 minutes
Maribor - 21/4 hours
Salzburg - 2 1/2 hours with €10 tolls plus €7 Austrian vignette
Venice MP - 2 1/2 hours with €10 tolls plus €7 Austrian vignette
Venice T - 3 1/4 hours with €10 tolls and €7 Austrian vignette
Klagenfurt - 45 minutes with €9 toll and €7 Austria vignette
Trieste 2 hours with €4 toll and €7 vignette if use Austrian motorway.
