Opposite the house there is a Mercator Supermarket with deli, bread and butchers counter. It is open every day and has a cash point machine outside too. Behind it is a bar and pizzeria, serving stonebaked pizzas (except Wednesdays) for very reasonable rates. Down the road is a bakery, also open every day. There is a Post office, Tourist Information centre, access to Dr’s/dentists and hairdressers. Several other bars/Tourist Farm and Inns are within walking distance.

Mojstrana has a ski slope and ice -skating rink, the ski slope is floodlit at night. There is also a cross -country skiing circuit near the church. There is a tennis club with 3 clay courts, a climbing wall, and a Park with picnic tables, children’s play area and pond.

Mojstrana lies on the main bus route between Kranjska Gora and Jesenice and there is a purpose built cycle/running/walking track between Mojstrana and Kranjska Gora along a disused railway line. This then carries on into Italy for the super fit!

Bike hire and quad biking can all be arranged in the village. Bikes can also be hired with a 10% discount at Sportpoint in Kranjska Gora.

Mojstrana enjoys close links with it’s neighbouring village of Dovje, and they share seasonal events, and a tourist office.
There are many easy through to difficult walks and treks from Mojstrana, all benefiting from well signed routes, so there is no real need to get in a car for days if you don’t want to.
